How To Use Bike Racks
Loading Your Bike
Always load and unload your bike from the curb side of the bus.
If the rack is stowed (upright against the bus), squeeze the silver release handle to lower it.
Place your bike in the rack, aligning the front wheel with the indicated spot. The first bike should be loaded in the position closest to the bus.
Pull the support arm over the front tire, securing it close to the frame. The arm should rest on the tire, not the frame.
Board the bus, pay your fare, and sit near the front so you can keep an eye on your bike.
Unloading Your Bike
Let the driver know you’ll be unloading your bike before your stop.
Exit through the front door.
Lift the support arm off the tire and lower it to the magnet on the rack.
Remove your bike from the rack.
If the rack is empty, raise it back up against the bus. You’re all set!
