Route detours and delays due to road closures starting 11/21/19
Due to scheduled railroad maintenance, Remount Rd. between Dakota and Dutton will be closed to all traffic starting on Thursday 11.21.19 and will continue until the road re-opens (anticipated Monday 11.23.19 or earlier).

Free Student Fares Program Extended Through December 2019
The CARTA Board of Directors voted on Aug. 22, 2019, to extend Free Student Fares program through December.
“We’ve seen great utilization and received incredible feedback on the program,” said CARTA Board of Directors Chairman Mike Seekings. “It makes a lot of sense to keep the program going into the new school year.” (more…)
BCDCOG Receives $1.4 Million In Volkswagen Settlement Funds
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (July 30, 2019) – The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments (BCDCOG) today received nearly $1.4 million from South Carolinas share of the Volkswagen Settlement Fund that will be used to purchase two all-electric buses and a pair of charging stations.
