Lowcountry Rapid Transit
The Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments has been working to advance the Lowcountry Rapid Transit project and an important step in the process is to initiate a study for transit-oriented development around the proposed bus rapid transit station areas.
Transit-oriented development also referred to as TOD, consists of thoughtfully creating livable, walkable communities within close proximity to public transit stations.
Join the LCRT project team at Community Workshops to find out more about TOD and provide input into your vision for growth along the corridor.
